The pleasing walk

The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices. Proverbs 21:3

We often think sacrifices that we offer to God would set things right with God when we failed to do things right, or at least it would be a good substitude in place of not doing right and just thing.

But in truth, God can never bless a unjust no matter how much sacrifices are made to make it up.

God knows our heart, we can’t impress him with false/not-so-genuine repentance either. Unless we get into a time of godly sorrow there is no way we genuinely repent – we simply fall back again, this time only further deep into the same pit.

Faithful walk with God is not about sacrifices or offerings, but about repentance, obedience, doing the right things the right way and being just. When you do the right thing, ofcourse no one notice this as it doesn’t put big show as sacrifice or offering, but pleases God!

Obedience is better than sacrifice… 1 Samuel 15:22

Don’t neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices. Hebrew 13:16
