Love who?

“You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…” Matthew 5:43-44

The number one reason why people are peace less is because they don’t know that they’re God’s children. As a result they are so much opinionated, self-defensive and egoistic.

Jesus’s teaching of “love your enemies” is His way to eliminate the list of people we tagged as our enemies.

Unless we realize that God forgave us in Christ Jesus all evil we did in the past, we would never have the ability to forgive others.

God forgave us when we don’t deserve. So, we should always forgive those who don’t deserve.

But if we confess our sins to him, he can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. And it is perfectly proper for God to do this for us because Christ died to wash away our sins. 1 John 1:9

Constant Contact

Enoch lived 365 years, walking in close fellowship with God. Then one day he disappeared, because God took him. (Genesis 5:23, 24 NLT)

God created mankind so intellect, emotional and decisive to have meaningful relationship and fellowship.

This expectation was ruined when Adam sinned, developed guilt, become unwilling to repent and couldn’t face God.

After many generations Enoch for what ever reason “abnormally” fell in love with God and had a constant fellowship with Him – which thrilled God so much that He can’t let him die and lose forever. God took Enoch to be with Him permanently.

John 3:16 says, God sent His Son Jesus to us – so our sin, guilt, unwillingness to repent & reconcile (Adamic nature) be removed, and we can have constant fellowship with God and live permanently with Him!

For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

The wild spreading joy!

Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the baby’s mother, “This child (Jesus) is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, but he will be a joy to many others… As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.” (Luke 2:34-35 NLT)

The words, works and the life of Jesus – a mere 3 years and few months of His ministry had changed the whole world!

Religion had collapsed, kingdom had collapsed, people were willing to die, worst outcasts lives were changed 180 degree for good, unheard thousands of miracles started to happen in His Name and His gospel had become the fire in the bones of countless.

On other side, religious became murderers, so thought pious saints were found to be cults, God’s commandments had been redefined and all were put in severe need of true hope in God that Jesus had revealed!

It’s been more than 2000 years now, the fire in bones of those who believed has only became much greater and wildly spreading, His truth has become much clear, His hope has been realized overwhelmingly and embraced more earnestly, faith is understood, fear is fought, forgiveness is received, families and nations that never thought will serve Him has declared “Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior and only Hope. Jesus Christ is indeed the Way, the Life and the Truth!”

In His Name, many are been set free, healed, restored, equipped, appointed and sent to release His joy to every hopeless, depressed, oppressed and possessed!

Jesus, the King of Righteous and Truth reigns!

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God… Luke 15:7

Don’t argue over your provision

At this they began to argue with each other because they hadn’t brought any bread. Jesus knew what they were saying, so he said, “Why are you arguing about having no bread? Don’t you know or understand even yet? Are your hearts too hard to take it in? (Mark 8:16-17 NLT)

When things get tight and there is shortage in supply – naturally an argument sets in to point fingers on each other and figuring out who’s responsible for the “mistake” that caused all these mess.

The result is strife, envy and hatred – breaking the unity and losing the self-worthiness.

Disciples were arguing over the food which would really doesn’t matter more than a meal. In fact, they want to complete the root cause analysis on whom to blame before Jesus finds out what’s going on.

But the correction from the Lord Jesus was both rebuking and comforting the disciples! He made them to remember the miracles of feeding thousands with just meager amount of bread.

As God’s children, especially in the family, Lord never wants to beat ourselves or blame others on those forgotten responsibilities and realize we serve a forgiving, wonder working God!

May Lord help us not to pass our stress on each other for things that really doesn’t matter. Let’s trust in Him who is our Provision.

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. Colossians 3:1 MSG

God my Keeper!

Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. (Psalms 34:5, 6 NLT)

Our Lord is simply marvelous! Great is His faithfulness towards everyone who put their trust in Him!

The moment we firm our relationship with God as our Lord, every dynamics of our lives goes under the direct control of God!

From that point onwards we become apple of His eyes! He become lovingly jealous of us – none can trouble our lives. His ears are curiously listening to all our conversations and prayers!

Lord Jesus is the only one truly loves us, truly cares for us and truly wants us to be free! More importantly, He is the only one Who can keep us from shame of sin!

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3

Sin no more

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. (Psalms 32:5 NLT)

The need for God is realized when we know we messed up. The thirst to get closer to God is the only thing that will make us to confess, repent and receive forgiveness from God.

The real confession and repentance always be forgiven by God in His grace and mercy – which isn’t cheap, but costed God the life of His Son. And, more importantly a requirement to establish an accountability to God that we “sin no more”.

This accountability to “sin no more” is the key for freedom, otherwise the confession was a religious relief of guilt and there was no genuine repentance before God.

We read in the Books of Gospel that our Lord Jesus always forgave those who came to Him, but commanded consistently, “Go, and sin no more.”

When His command is kept, our transgression is removed!

He forgives all your sin; He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the Pit; He crowns you with faithful love and compassion. He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our offenses. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:3-4, 10, 12

Become a blessing!

“And the King (Jesus) will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ (Matthew 25:40 NLT)

When God by His mercy kept us well, He do expect that we be mindful of people around us who are hurting, hungry and in need of supplies that are well in our power to bless them.

Even the greedy in one point of time will learn his lesson and set his records straight, but it is the stingy that will get punished and would lose the eternal life!

Are we ignoring or overlooking people that God has kept around us? These are the ones God has placed in our life, so we can become a blessing by releasing the mercy, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness along with food, water and money where needed.

Then he (Jesus) turned to his host. “When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said, “don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward. Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.” Luke 14:12-14
