Love who?

“You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…” Matthew 5:43-44

The number one reason why people are peace less is because they don’t know that they’re God’s children. As a result they are so much opinionated, self-defensive and egoistic.

Jesus’s teaching of “love your enemies” is His way to eliminate the list of people we tagged as our enemies.

Unless we realize that God forgave us in Christ Jesus all evil we did in the past, we would never have the ability to forgive others.

God forgave us when we don’t deserve. So, we should always forgive those who don’t deserve.

But if we confess our sins to him, he can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. And it is perfectly proper for God to do this for us because Christ died to wash away our sins. 1 John 1:9

Your deliverance in your tongue

Is it easier to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Stand up and walk’? (Luke 5:23 NLT)

Wherever Jesus went signs and wonders accompanied Him. Constantly crowds exclaimed woo-hoo, wow & hah! But whenever Jesus said Who He is the crowd wanted to kill Him!

They had no problem when He raised the dead but can’t stand when He told He is the Son of God.

Today, it’s no different. The crowd wants the benefits of Jesus Christ but don’t want to give Him the Lordship.

Unless we see and say what Father God and His Word say Who Jesus Christ is, we won’t have deliverance.

And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17

…God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

Vision is not about us

The tribes of Reuben and Gad owned vast numbers of livestock. So when they saw that the lands of Jazer and Gilead were ideally suited for their flocks and herds… “Do you intend to stay here while your brothers go across and do all the fighting?” Moses asked the men of Gad and Reuben. (Numbers 32:1,2,6 NLT)

When God gives us a vision, He expects us to reach it without any compromise.

More often than not, we settle for less afraid of losing the provisions He gave us; forgetting, if not for the vision we won’t have that provision in the first place.

We are where we are because of the vision. It is not acceptable that we reach ‘almost’ there and settle for less. The most exciting time is yet to come if we pursue all the way!

After all, vision is not about us! Why we settle for something seems suitable just because vision seems to be impossible? We know its far from who we are called to be. Let’s be bold to cross the Jordan and fight the good fight!

You were running the race so well. Who has held you back from following the truth? It certainly isn’t God, for he is the one who called you to freedom. Galatians 5:7-8

The wild spreading joy!

Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the baby’s mother, “This child (Jesus) is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, but he will be a joy to many others… As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.” (Luke 2:34-35 NLT)

The words, works and the life of Jesus – a mere 3 years and few months of His ministry had changed the whole world!

Religion had collapsed, kingdom had collapsed, people were willing to die, worst outcasts lives were changed 180 degree for good, unheard thousands of miracles started to happen in His Name and His gospel had become the fire in the bones of countless.

On other side, religious became murderers, so thought pious saints were found to be cults, God’s commandments had been redefined and all were put in severe need of true hope in God that Jesus had revealed!

It’s been more than 2000 years now, the fire in bones of those who believed has only became much greater and wildly spreading, His truth has become much clear, His hope has been realized overwhelmingly and embraced more earnestly, faith is understood, fear is fought, forgiveness is received, families and nations that never thought will serve Him has declared “Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior and only Hope. Jesus Christ is indeed the Way, the Life and the Truth!”

In His Name, many are been set free, healed, restored, equipped, appointed and sent to release His joy to every hopeless, depressed, oppressed and possessed!

Jesus, the King of Righteous and Truth reigns!

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God… Luke 15:7

Promise unaltered!

“You said your children would be carried off as plunder. Well, I will bring them safely into the land, and they will enjoy what you have despised.”(Numbers 14:31 NLT)

Israelites wanted the best for their children, but other than slavery nothing Egypt had to offer. They cried out to God because of the cruelty, and it was unthinkable that their children would go thru’ the same if not worst.

God heard the cry and delivered them from slavery miraculously, not just because of His mercy but because of His promise to Abraham!

All the complaints of those “in between” generation didn’t altered God’s promise made to Abraham. The fulfillment of the hope and the promise was for everyone who believed! Those who believed entered and possessed that promise land!

Today, God’s promise to us – the children of Abraham has not changed irrespective of our “in between” generations. If we chose to believe, we has the same hope and promise, and we will enjoy what others has despised!

Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith. Romans 4:13

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. Romans 5:1-2

Prepare for an Overwhelming Victory!

A year after Israel’s departure from Egypt, the Lord spoke to Moses in the Tabernacle in the wilderness of Sinai. On the first day of the second month of that year he said, “From the whole community of Israel, record the names of all the warriors by their clans and families. List all the men… (Numbers 1:1, 2 NLT)

People of Israel were brought out from Egypt with greatest signs and wonders. In wilderness they were protected and provided miraculously. Yet, God told Moses to mobilize an army to defend themselves.

God didn’t led Israelites like cattle by not requiring them to do anything but simply to trust Him. But made them to become responsible, trained them equally as any nations army existed at that time and equipped them with all supplies needed for their families so they can be devoted to these duties.

Only on top of all these necessary duties He entrusted on them, He showed up in their battles, in their weakness, in their impossibilities and made them to conquer!

A God’s child is never exempt from training himself/herself in all that is needed to defend including his/her faith. When we do all that we are required to do diligently by His grace and wisdom – He will add His favor and strength to make us win!

Let’s prepare diligently as we are called not just to conquer but to become more than a conquer thru’ Christ Jesus!

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37, 39

But you, keep going

When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.” But Jesus replied, “We must go on to other towns as well, and I will preach to them, too. That is why I came.” (Mark 1:37, 38 NLT)

Lord Jesus kept His ministry simple to the point why He came – to preach the good news in every town and villages before He would finish for us on the cross.

Signs & wonders – healing, deliverance and miracles are only the outcome of His preaching and teaching; never in His agenda but always His will!

He set it clear to His disciples that they should never seek the crowd that wants them but go seeking the souls that doesn’t know that they are in need of God. By giving the good news, their eyes will wide open to the truth that sets them free!

There is not one truly free without Christ Jesus. There are billions in the waiting list – waiting for you to come and tell this good news. Let’s go!

So the message about the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect. Afterward Paul felt compelled by the Spirit to go over to Macedonia and Achaia before going to Jerusalem. “And after that,” he said, “I must go on to Rome!” Acts 19:20-21

God my Keeper!

Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. (Psalms 34:5, 6 NLT)

Our Lord is simply marvelous! Great is His faithfulness towards everyone who put their trust in Him!

The moment we firm our relationship with God as our Lord, every dynamics of our lives goes under the direct control of God!

From that point onwards we become apple of His eyes! He become lovingly jealous of us – none can trouble our lives. His ears are curiously listening to all our conversations and prayers!

Lord Jesus is the only one truly loves us, truly cares for us and truly wants us to be free! More importantly, He is the only one Who can keep us from shame of sin!

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3

The promised battles

But listen carefully to everything I command you today. Then I will go ahead of you and drive out the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. (Exodus 34:11 NLT)

When God promise something and He start to move us strategically, one thing that we need to get ready is to face the unfamiliar enemies.

It is very tricky, how can you prepare when you don’t know anything about your enemies?

Every new place has a new battle for us to fight – which we never fought before!

The only way to prepare is to follow the order given by God by being diligent to listen, obey and trust in His leading.

It is very important on how we drive our first enemy! That will set the stage in how we handle the others.

When it comes to entering the promise land, we also have to realize that we are entering the enemies territory controlled by sin, shame, fear, guilt, deception and oppression.

These all has to be defeated beginning from sin, which we can do only by the blood of Jesus!

They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death. Revelation 12:11

Sin no more

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. (Psalms 32:5 NLT)

The need for God is realized when we know we messed up. The thirst to get closer to God is the only thing that will make us to confess, repent and receive forgiveness from God.

The real confession and repentance always be forgiven by God in His grace and mercy – which isn’t cheap, but costed God the life of His Son. And, more importantly a requirement to establish an accountability to God that we “sin no more”.

This accountability to “sin no more” is the key for freedom, otherwise the confession was a religious relief of guilt and there was no genuine repentance before God.

We read in the Books of Gospel that our Lord Jesus always forgave those who came to Him, but commanded consistently, “Go, and sin no more.”

When His command is kept, our transgression is removed!

He forgives all your sin; He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the Pit; He crowns you with faithful love and compassion. He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our offenses. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:3-4, 10, 12
