The wild spreading joy!

Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the baby’s mother, “This child (Jesus) is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, but he will be a joy to many others… As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.” (Luke 2:34-35 NLT)

The words, works and the life of Jesus – a mere 3 years and few months of His ministry had changed the whole world!

Religion had collapsed, kingdom had collapsed, people were willing to die, worst outcasts lives were changed 180 degree for good, unheard thousands of miracles started to happen in His Name and His gospel had become the fire in the bones of countless.

On other side, religious became murderers, so thought pious saints were found to be cults, God’s commandments had been redefined and all were put in severe need of true hope in God that Jesus had revealed!

It’s been more than 2000 years now, the fire in bones of those who believed has only became much greater and wildly spreading, His truth has become much clear, His hope has been realized overwhelmingly and embraced more earnestly, faith is understood, fear is fought, forgiveness is received, families and nations that never thought will serve Him has declared “Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior and only Hope. Jesus Christ is indeed the Way, the Life and the Truth!”

In His Name, many are been set free, healed, restored, equipped, appointed and sent to release His joy to every hopeless, depressed, oppressed and possessed!

Jesus, the King of Righteous and Truth reigns!

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God… Luke 15:7

The sprout test

Place these staffs in the Tabernacle in front of the Ark containing the tablets of the Covenant, where I meet with you. Buds will sprout on the staff belonging to the man I choose. Then I will finally put an end to the people’s murmuring and complaining against you.” (Numbers 17:4, 5 NLT)

When God chose a leader to lead, He relives the pressure off the leader to prove his/her authority.

Beware, God do allow a season for others to see the leader is not so perfect. But then, God will move with a mighty power for everyone to realize that it is indeed He who has chosen and appointed that leader to lead them.

For this to happen, the leader has to refrain from all arguments and quarrel; willfully come to a place of humility by submitting him/herself before the Word of God (tablets of the Covenant) and waiting in His presence (Ark, Tabernacle) until God brings the supernatural life and fruitfulness in the authority He gave.

No self promoters survive this sprout test. Let’s place ours under the Word’s check and soak it with His presence until it sprouts!

On that day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel, and they revered him throughout his life, as they had revered Moses. Joshua 4:14

His name is Wonderful!

They were completely amazed and said again and again, “Everything he does is wonderful. He even makes the deaf to hear and gives speech to those who cannot speak.” (Mark 7:37 NLT)

Every minute somewhere, someone is touched by Christ Jesus and receives their miracle!

If we take a moment to look back at our own lives (or others who has Jesus Christ as their Lord), we will testify that He is so wonderful!

When Jesus walked among people 2000 years ago, they were in peak of joy as they had the very Creator in midst of them and testified that ‘nothing is impossible for God!’

Today, if we come out of our own small circle and start working with other needy people by introducing Christ Jesus their Savior to them – the stage has been set to see for ourselves the most wonderful things He will do for them!

This is exciting, is there anything impossible for Him!

…and the people begged Jesus to lay his hands on the man to heal him. Mark 7:32

Wherever he went—in villages, cities, or the countryside—they brought the sick out to the marketplaces. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed. Mark 6:56

Your supply is in your calling

On the sixth day they will gather food, and when they prepare it, there will be twice as much as usual.” (Exodus 16:5 NLT)

God brought Israelites out of Egypt, so they can worship Him, depend on Him and be free from slavery to the world that abuse and demand more for less.

We God’s people are called for more than who we are, and way more than what the world things who we are!

We are called to separate ourselves unto the Lord by getting away on a regular basis from the pressures and cares of this world, and simply worship Him.

This separation is our sanctification that brings provision, favor and growth in our lives – which makes us a blessing to all.

The Lord will supply for what He called us to do. We are called to worship Him!

Only He can do

When Jesus heard them, he stopped and called, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord,” they said, “we want to see!” (Matthew 20:32, 33 NLT)

2000 years before all Israelites believed in the coming of their Messiah, but few longed for the Messiah to come!

Those who longed aren’t just God lovers but it included God need-ers. Blinds were among those, because their eyes will be opened by the Messiah –

And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf. Isaiah 35:5

So, when these blind men heard that Jesus is walking down the street they rushed to Him with that one request that only the Messiah can fulfill!

We have this Messiah as our personal Savior Who finished everything for us on the cruel cross. What do we ask of Him that no one but only Lord Jesus can do?

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:14, 16

The stainless faith

Jesus said, “You faithless and corrupt people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” (Matthew 17:17 NLT)

Not that we don’t have faith, we have a tendency to look at every situation as though it’s unique and very different from where we been and what was done before.

This attitude – Lord Jesus rebukes and calling us to reckon with the power of working in His authority consistently in every situation and challenges.

Faith in Christ and functioning in His authority has to be highly guarded with utmost sincerity refusing even the slightest resemblance of fear, failure and faithlessness – for these corrupt any great faith in no time and can make us look like fools.

“Get up and prepare for action.Go out and tell them everything I tell you to say.Do not be afraid of them,or I will make you look foolish in front of them. Jeremiah 1:17

Your faith is in the leftovers

Don’t you understand even yet? Don’t you remember the 5,000 I fed with five loaves, and the baskets of leftovers you picked up? Or the 4,000 I fed with seven loaves, and the large baskets of leftovers you picked up” Matthew 16:9-10

When God does a miracle in our lives, He never does it just to bring a relief from that desperate situation but to strengthen our faith and trust in Him for the rest of our life.

Disciples like us went from one challenge to another – but Lord Jesus reinforced in them to do the post miracle meditation and digest what a wondrous impossible thing He had performed.

This examination and evaluation alone will raise our faith in Christ and creates a greater strength to believe in His power and faithfulness when we face another obstacle!

Let all that I am praise the Lord;may I never forget the good things he does for me. Psalm 103:2
