Happily ever after

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. (Psalms 16:11 NLT)

If a choice is given to live or to die, not one person would opt to die. Everyone wants to live; in fact live eternally if possible.

There are millions of fairytale stories that all ends with “… and they happily lived ever after!” Why? Because this is what every kid wants to hear. This is what every parent wish for their children. This is what a true love wants in all its relationship!

Why is then it is too hard to believe that God loves us so dearly and send His one and only son so whoso ever believe in Him shall not die but live happily ever after?

The gift is salvation (happily ever after life) in Christ Jesus, Who said I am the Way, the Life and the Truth.

God wants the relationship with each one of us and has the power, and made the provision to give the eternal life to us!

Believe and chose to live.

For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

The Higher Purpose

“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. (Matthew 7:21 NLT)

Without having a purpose we can’t serve any person or an organization with loyalty. We always chose a better place or a person constantly if we do for monetary benefits (either to receive or not wanting to give).

Serving God is beyond loyalty, it requires giving Him the Lordship (the supreme power to rule over our lives). This means we no longer live in our self-will or any others influence but solely on God’s will!

From there on our daily life begins by searching for God’s will by seeking His presence, His peace and His commands (Word of God – the Bible). The entire goal and purpose of our lives is then simply to ensure that we constantly live in God’s will.

In such life, there is no fear of failure, loss, competition, pride, jealous or rejection.

But it is a life of contentment, power and blessing! More than anything this life alone brings the great assurance of the eternal life in the Kingdom of God!

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

Your right to believe

Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory. 1 Peter 1:21

Death is one thing that tells we are powerless, unpredictable, unreliable and fearful.

Except the Gospel of Jesus Christ there is nothing that gives us hope in eternal life (a real life after the death). Except the Gospel of Jesus Christ no where the resurrection from the death was recorded and promised.

Only Jesus has conquered the death, so only He can rescue us from the death and give life, life abundant!

It is imperative that every human being hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and given the opportunity to believe for the eternal life in Christ Jesus.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” Acts 16:31

Never be lost again!

Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God. Hebrew 11:10

Abraham wasn’t called as a father of faith because he just believed in God, but He was the one first to believe that God would give the eternal life for the sinful human beings just for believing!

The faith walk of Abraham took him thru’ many nations, wealth and fame but nothing could make him satisfied to settle down – he kept walking that some day His God will settle him in a city build not with human hands but with the love of God.

There is no better place down here, let’s not wander in search; let’s walk confidently the path that is proven and lead straight to our heavenly homeland.

But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. Hebrew 11:16

No more fear

Only in this way could he (Jesus) set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying. Hebrews 2:15

Our sin gave power to the death and the fear of death to us, devil had death in his grip and Jesus took it from him by dying on the cross for our sins by breaking permanently that fear man had beginning from Adam.

The only message humankind craved for thousands of years to hear was how to be freed from the fear of death!

Religions and philosophers to temporarily numb the fear said and wrote their opinion of what death could be and what is after that – but it never freed even one human being from the fear of death until the message of the coming of the Messiah was unveiled by God to His people.

Death was put to shame and devil was stripped off of his authority when Jesus poured His life unto death, the message of the Cross of Christ became the Good News when God raised Jesus from the death!

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved.

So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:1-2, 21

The unending joy!

For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing. Jeremiah 31:25

The unending joy is coming, wait; don’t give up!

There is no greater rest than the rest that comes when God convinces us after we had gone thru’ all regrets, questioning, remorse and turmoil.

God’s eyes are indeed on the righteous eager to give them rest and refresh their spirits as they go thru’ hardship.

There is none compassionate to forgive us and passionate to restore us like our God. He values us precious even when we lost it all and no one wants us.

Every time God picks us from weariness and give rest, every time God picks us from sorrowfulness and gives us joy – it’s only a shadow of the greater rest and joy that awaits in our Home.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3

Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you”. Isaiah 35:4

Longing for you!

Look, there he is behind the wall, looking through the window, peering into the room. Song of Solomon 2:9

Eternity is simply beautiful when we know the One Who is our Bridegroom!

Eternal life is calm, blissful yet an adventurous joy to spend all our time with the Lord Who love us so dearly!

When you shed this body that has wrapped you, you would be free from the weight of this world – all that you think that is yours and holding on to will stay back while you swiftly move up to the One Who alone is now yours!

Eternity is beautiful when you know your Bridegroom.

When we truly understand the love of God and truly fall in love with Him, even the blink of an eye is too much time to wait for!

I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? Psalm 42:2

Let’s ask ourselves where is the first love we had towards the Lord? When can I logoff and seek the Lord? When can I put the child to bed and seek the Lord? When can I put off my self and seek my Love?

Do you see Him peering thru that lattice?
