The sprout test

Place these staffs in the Tabernacle in front of the Ark containing the tablets of the Covenant, where I meet with you. Buds will sprout on the staff belonging to the man I choose. Then I will finally put an end to the people’s murmuring and complaining against you.” (Numbers 17:4, 5 NLT)

When God chose a leader to lead, He relives the pressure off the leader to prove his/her authority.

Beware, God do allow a season for others to see the leader is not so perfect. But then, God will move with a mighty power for everyone to realize that it is indeed He who has chosen and appointed that leader to lead them.

For this to happen, the leader has to refrain from all arguments and quarrel; willfully come to a place of humility by submitting him/herself before the Word of God (tablets of the Covenant) and waiting in His presence (Ark, Tabernacle) until God brings the supernatural life and fruitfulness in the authority He gave.

No self promoters survive this sprout test. Let’s place ours under the Word’s check and soak it with His presence until it sprouts!

On that day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel, and they revered him throughout his life, as they had revered Moses. Joshua 4:14

The Gateway of Life

Therefore he (Jesus) is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. Hebrews 7:25

The office of the High Priest is 100% about pleasing God. The usefulness and effectiveness of the High Priest role is not outside among the people, but inside, before the Presence of God in the Holy of Holies.

This calling is by God’s choice and total denial of self by the Priest. To operate in the calling is to constantly reconcile people’s acts with God’s law thru’ intercession and sacrifice for obtaining God’s forgiveness.

Jesus Christ pleased His Father completely and He Himself became that perfect sacrifice and has entered the Holy of Holies once for all, permanently – to stay and intercede on our behalf!

Jesus Christ is the answer for your prayers. He is the entrance for your peace and eternal life. Let’s enter thru’ Him!

The most wanted

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16

Whenever we are in need, we look for someone who would be willing to help us. Those who are likely to help us are usually merciful towards us and acknowledge that we need help. But all those helpers would react in different ways – reluctant, try to avoid us, refer us to someone else, humiliate, teach us a lesson… Or graceful – which we don’t deserve, but appreciate heart-felt.

Relationship with God unlike any other relationship is solely based on our inability to help ourselves and being in need of God’s help constantly.

One can never be related to God if he/she manages all things by himself/herself without being in need of God’s grace and mercy.

Pride would be the only barrier that separates us from this relationship where God being our helper and we being the dependent.

Grace of God is the big loving smile of God that welcomes us into His presence no matter how terribly we were wrong. Mercy of God is the kiss of God on our filthy cheeks – which all other human being even refused to look at!

Let’s approach our Lord Jesus Christ boldly for this most wanted grace and mercy, otherwise we won’t survive very long.
