The Daily Checklist

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16

We stop growing in Christ and fooling ourselves the moment we start patting ourselves after reading God’s word.

The truth is our flesh never becomes perfect. We need God’s word every single day to come and correct our lives, remind us of who we are and where we would be without Him.

His spoken word alone is an anchor to hold us on a stormy day and His encouraging word alone will put the sail to our lives and take us out of troubles.

The willingness to learn new from a very familiar passage will take us to another deeper level to believe God.

Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths. Psalm 119:1-3

Pleasing Hearts

Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth!
Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you. Psalm 86:11

Purity is being free from adulterated by anything that this corrupt world influence on us, and remaining the way God created us to be.

None of us were close to it, but the Pure from God – His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all adulteration and has the power to take our hearts to its utmost purity every time we allow His word to pierce our hearts!

Unlike we think a pure heart doesn’t look polished, rigid and vibrant but rather torn, broken and contrite by constant correction, self-denial and submission by the power of God’s Spoken Word.

Nothing honors God like these awful looking, amazing, pleasing hearts!

Now, let’s take a hard look on what type of teaching we inclined to – ear pleasing or heart pricking?
