Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. (Matthew 14:28, 29 NLT)
Jesus had absolutely no hesitation, not even a second, as soon as Peter wished to walk on the water like Him – immediately He said to Peter “Yes, come”!
Jesus unlike us wasn’t thinking who do you think you’re! do you know to pray like me, faith like me, how many years of training one should’ve to get here…
Jesus Christ clearly demonstrated that miracles never work that way, but by simple faith in Him just the way Peter had when he stepped out of that boat!
To do this miracle Peter don’t have to be trained anymore than to listen and believe in the words of Christ Jesus “Yes, come!”
What you battling today? No matter how heavy your storm may be, or how far you are tossed to, you simply ask Jesus like Peter did, “bid me come unto thee on the water.”
You don’t need to be a great prayer warrior and have years of fellowship with Christ to believe and walk on the storms of life, it’s by simple now faith in His spoken word you can!
