The Cornerstone

Then Jesus began teaching them with stories: “A man planted a vineyard. He built a wall around it, dug a pit for pressing out the grape juice, and built a lookout tower. Then he leased the vineyard to tenant farmers and moved to another country… The next servant he sent was killed. Others he sent were either beaten or killed, until there was only one left—his son whom he loved dearly. (Mark 12:1, 5, 6 NLT)

No better parable than this one tells clearly that Jesus was the last One sent to His people. “…until there was only one left—his son whom he loved dearly.”

The Son of God came to be betrayed, persecuted and crucified – treated worse than all the prophets sent before.

He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:10-12

Everyone who claim to be a prophet or messenger from God after Lord Jesus are only cults and false prophets.

This explains why those so called ‘prophets’ were not persecuted but celebrated and had become icons of new religions and movements.

More of these false prophets are to come, let’s keep our eyes open!

Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’
They will deceive many. And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:4-5, 11-13
