The Anointing Rush

But David persisted. “I have been taking care of my father’s sheep and goats,” he said. “When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock, I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth. If the animal turns on me, I catch it by the jaw and club it to death. I have done this to both lions and bears, and I’ll do it to this pagan Philistine, too, for he has defied the armies of the living God! The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!” 1 Samuel 17:34-37

Clubbing a lion or a bear by grabbing it by its jaw is beyond human-boldness and natural strength.

This is not an adrenaline rush either; adrenaline rush may help one run in above-normal speed and escape being mauled but not what David did to those lions and bears!

This kind of strength, boldness, authority comes from God’s anointing thru’ His Spirit, which is supernatural for that moment or a season.

Samson tore a young lion with his bare hands, killed 1000 Philistines with a donkey’s jawbone, when God’s Spirit came upon Him powerfully for His reasons/purposes.

Just the way anointing in our lives can’t be realized unless we are on the constant “go”, this supernatural strength can’t operate unless we realize our authority in Christ Jesus and our responsibility to destroy the works of the devil in others lives, especially the people of God we work with.

Goliaths are out there only for Davids to be raised into power, and not to be afraid of!

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19

The compassion that triggers miracles

So they sat down in groups of fifty or a hundred.
Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. Mark 6:40-41

The miracle in a ministry is not in how many people are gathered, but in how many people are been fed satisfactorily!

We see here in the Lord’s ministry such kind of miracle where people ate as much as they wanted, and afterwards the disciples picked each a basket full of left-overs.

Such “satisfactory” supernatural miracles will happen in our ministry when we are drawn to people with a compassion that they’re sheep without shepherds and start teaching them what we are been taught.

The very essence that brings the total satisfaction of God’s goodness in peoples’ lives are when they are taught in a small group – where they’re noticed, words are spoken into their lives, help them see that they’re important and loved by God personally.

Mark 6:39 “Jesus told the disciples to have the people sit down in groups”.

This was the ministry of our Lord, to go into all towns and teach them out of compassion.

Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. Mark 6:34

Then Jesus went from village to village, teaching the people. Mark 6:6
